Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and converting ugc (the United Kingdom) for the use of convertingugc.tech. By creating an account or paying, you accept them.
What the service does
You give us a photo of your product and a line to say. We use AI models to produce a short vertical video in which an actor holds your product and speaks that line. The actors are synthetic. The result is generated, not filmed.
Credits, not a subscription
Work is paid for in credits. Credits are granted to your account, and the one-off $1 payment unlocks the credits already there — it does not buy them and it does not start a recurring charge. There is no subscription and nothing renews by itself.
Credits do not expire. They have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged for money.
Making a clip happens in two steps, and each is charged when it runs: drawing the photos to choose from, and turning a chosen photo into the video. If you stop after the photos, the second step is never charged.
Refunds
Payments are final and we do not refund them. Your credits are unlocked the moment the payment goes through, and every run costs us money with the provider the moment it starts.
By paying you are asking for that access immediately, and you accept that doing so ends any right to change your mind that you would otherwise have had once the credits are unlocked.
Failed runs are different, and they are on us: if a run fails through our fault or the provider's, the credits for it come back to your account by themselves. If they did not, tell us and we will put them back.
What you must have the right to use
You keep ownership of what you upload. By uploading it you allow us to process it and to pass it to the providers listed in our Privacy Policy, for the sole purpose of making your video.
You confirm that you hold the rights to everything you upload — product photos, footage, trademarks, and any person shown in them. Do not upload other people's advertising, other people's faces, or material you licensed for a different purpose.
What you make is yours
The videos you produce are yours to use, including commercially. We claim no ownership of them. We may show work publicly as an example only if you tell us we may.
The synthetic actors, the sample clips in the Content Library and the product itself remain ours or our licensors'; access to the service is not a licence to the actors or the samples outside a video you generated.
What you may not do
- Make anything unlawful, deceptive, or intended to impersonate a real person, company or public figure.
- Put words in an actor's mouth that a viewer would reasonably take as a statement by a real, identifiable person.
- Make sexual content, content involving minors, hate speech, or content promoting self-harm or violence.
- Resell the service as your own, or try to extract the models behind it.
We may refuse or stop a run, and close an account, when these are broken. Where we close an account for that reason, unspent credits are not refunded.
What we do not promise
The service is provided as it is. Generated video is unpredictable by nature: a model may misread your product, change details you wanted kept, or produce something you simply do not like. That is not a defect, and it is why the price is split — you see the photos before paying for the video.
We do not promise the service will be available without interruption, and we depend on providers who can change or withdraw their models.
To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the three months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending it
You may stop and ask us to delete your account at any time; see the Privacy Policy for what that removes. We may end the agreement with notice, or immediately where the rules above are broken.
Law and disputes
This agreement is governed by the law of the United Kingdom, and disputes belong to the courts there. Before going to court, write to us — most of what looks like a dispute turns out to be a misunderstanding about credits.
Changes
We may change these terms; the date at the top says when. Changes that affect what you have already paid for do not apply retroactively, and we write to you before a material change takes effect.
